Featuring our state-of-the-art U-5000 dry unit and internal heating technology facilitating temperatures up to 60°C, the XSD 1404 achieves consistently reliable ultra-low humidity levels of less than 0.5% RH. Not only can the XSD 1404 stop the clock, it can also set it back to zero while at the same time controlling oxidation. The XSD 1404 offers state of the art storage and drying of MSDs without high temperature baking. The XSD Series are designed to store and dry moisture sensitive components. Their key feature is the very powerful U 5000 dry unit, which allows a maximum drying of the relative humidity to less than 0.5%RH. Under these conditions the moisture sensitive devices will drywithout an extra thermal process because the vapour pressure inside the cabinet is low enough to attract water molecules out of the moisture sensitive components.
The XSD Cabinets are also double insulated to support the drying process with a heater at 40°C (confirm with IPC/JEDEC-J-STD-033B.1) or process optimized up to 60°C.
